Virtual and hardware appliances

DenyAll distributes its products as traditional software, virtual appliances and hardware appliance bundles. Appliances rely on a unique Linux base which has been specifically optimized and hardened to meet the most stringent requirements in terms of security and performances. These appliances can either be physically based on hardware solutions provided by HP, or virtualized in order to be installed on a VMWare Host.

The benefits of using appliances are the following:

  • Hard appliances prevents the high costs and risks of failure caused by the need of adapting the software to various hardware and software (OS) combinations.
  • The tight integration between DAOS, DenyAll's WAFs and hardware increases the MTBF and the quality of support.
  • Virtual appliances provide an industrialized way of deploying a W iAFn a matter of mere minutes. They integrate seamlessly into distributed architectures and cloud environments.
  • Physical appliances leverage HP's great maintenance and support services. They can easily be upgraded with memory modules and additional CPUs.
